Amazon Seller scam from Nigeria

I happend to sell a canon 60d on ebay yesterday and a seller came across and offers me more than I was asking, for he wanted me to send it internationally, I was very happy, so I went forward and responded I was open to make the transaction, for he was offering more than I was able to expect. So I gave him my paypal address so he could send me money, but I began to be suspicious, cause normally it must be the seller who sends an invoice to the buyer for him to pay.

Here are the messages we exchanged:

Not knowing I decided to procede, because using paypal invoice is normally very secure, but I remained suspicious.
Several minutes after I received an email it appeared to be a confirmation but in fact it was a false email, and above all it indicated it had been mad threw ebay as it was a paypal transaction here is the message:

I then received an email confirming my transaction which I hadn't even confirmed

I was about the ship item but decided to  verified my paypal account and nothing appeared so i googled the address and found out that address had an incredible about of scams declared, not only for ebay but also craiglist and amazon. So I sent him a real paypal invoice and they never responded, confirming it is a scam. Luckily I didn't ship the item like lots of people did. The scam consists of sending you false payment confirmation and then you ship the item to there address and lose track of the package. The only advice I can give you is be aware of transactions you make via internet and always remain skeptical.
